Dear Editor:
I want to take a few minutes to thank Sheriff Doughty and his outstanding team of professionals, from dispatch to patrol deputies. They work tirelessly to ensure our county is safe and sound. They are professionals and I want to recognize them for their service. I encourage each member of the county to thank them when they see them in public for the jobs they do.
These are the men and women who chose to answer the call of law enforcement, because they believe in enforcing the laws set forth by the commonwealth, keeping of good order, and discipline.
