Mr. Donald Reed Walker, 72, of Melfa, passed away April 9, 2019, at his residence.
Born Nov. 9, 1946, in Hopeton, he was the son of the late Carlton R. Walker and Mary E. Morris Walker. Mr. Walker was a proud U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, the VFW #4296, the American Legion #101, the Elks Lodge #1776, the former Nelsonia Moose Lodge and the Grand Lodge of Legion #4048. He was a retired medic for Eastern Shore Ambulance.
Survivors include one nephew; his caregiver, Ethel Schuster; and many friends.
A memorial service was held Thursday, April 18, 2019, from the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley.
