Mrs. Bessie M. Wilson, 62, of Onancock, departed this life April 25, 2022, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock.
Born in Onancock, Bessie was the beloved daughter of Mary D. Boggs and the late Quinton L. Strand. She entered the workforce in the poultry industry, working for both Perdue Farms and Tyson Foods over the years.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. James Rich officiating. Interment was in the Metropolitan-Bayside Community Cemetery, Onancock.
Bessie leaves to cherish her loving memories: her mother, Mary D. Boggs; stepmother, Martha Allen; daughter, Keisha Wilson; two grandchildren; son-in-law, Preston Kellam Jr.; three brothers, Rickey Drummond, Quenton Drummond, and Alphonso Drummond; six sisters, Joyce Johnson, Lashaun Nock, Lashawn Nock, Elizabeth Bunting, Abigail Allen, and Allison Brown; and host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
