Mr. David Richard Waller, 78, of Onancock, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Born Jan. 31, 1944, in Salisbury, Md., he was the son of the late Thomas Jackson Waller and the late Eleanor Gullett Waller.
Dave served his country in the U.S. Army and was a lifelong cabinet maker. He loved everything about the Eastern Shore and looked forward to time spent hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his longtime companion of over 30 years, Grace Selby, of Harborton, and her daughter, Jeanette Sturgis, of Wachapreague, whom Dave considered his stepdaughter; a sister, Rebecca Waller, of Delaware; step-grandchildren, Donald Rogers (Kaitlen), Morghan Rogers, and Grace Sturgis (Carl); step-great-grandchildren, Nolan, Addison, Gage, and Grayson; and countless friends, whose constant love and support over the years was much appreciated by David, as well as by his family.
Per his wishes, no public services will be held.
