Mrs. Rosie L. Holloman, 89, of Melfa, departed this life on Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at her residence.
Born in Nandua, Rosie was the daughter of the late Smallwood Sr. and Maggie Kellam. She was married to the late Horace E. Holloman. Rosie held many occupations throughout her life that included cook, nurse’s aide, and a factory worker.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Painter, with the Rev. Jessie Thomas officiating.
She leaves to carry on her legacy: two brothers, John Kellam and Garry Horsey; eight nieces; 11 nephews; two goddaughters; one sister-in-law; special niece, Carsandra “Ann” Walker; Mary N. Smith class of 1950; and a host of special friends, other relatives, and friends.
Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
