The Shorebots, FIRST Robotics Team 1908, traveled to Newport News, Sunday, Feb. 20, to visit the Peninsula Stem Gym.
The Shorebots were invited to the Stem Gym by fellow FIRST Robotics Team 2363 Triple Helix. The team was able to test drive its robot on a full-sized game field, allowing the team to make adjustments to the programmed code and mechanical specifications.
The Shorebots will travel to the Richmond area March 5 and 20 for week 1 and week 3 FIRST Chesapeake Competitions. The competitions will be live-streamed at https://www.twitch.tv/firstchesapeake
