Miss Shanetta S. Smith, 42, of Exmore, departed this life Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at the Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach.
Born in Nassawadox, Shanetta was the daughter of Cecil Watts Jr. and Willie Mae Washington. She was affectionately known as “Neet” or “Blink” by her family and friends.
She worked at the County Line in Exmore for many years.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at the chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with Bishop E. Michael Miller officiating. Interment was in the Bethel Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Franktown.
Shanetta leaves to cherish great memories: her daughter, Keona Smith; son, Trayquan Smith; parents, Cecil Watts Jr. and Willie M. Washington; sisters, Casey Mapp and Maxine Ross Jones; brothers, Timothy Washington, Terrance Washington, Lamonte Washington, Mike Jones, and Tyrell Seymore; three aunts; one uncle; two special friends; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
