Mr. Charles Roland Wehner, 90, passed away peacefully at his Captains Cove home Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. Born Aug. 29, 1931, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Andrew Wehner Sr. and the late Catherine Brasure Wehner.

He attended Anne Arundel Community College and became a millwright for 35 years at Airco Welding Products and later worked for 10 years as the head custodian in the Baltimore County schools, including Sparrows Point High School and Edgemere Elementary School. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and was a longtime member of Pocomoke City American Legion Post #93.

Charles is survived by his second wife, Patricia Doetzer Wehner; one son, Christopher Wehner (Marilyn), of Winchester, Va.; stepdaughter, Joanne C. Pantaleo; one granddaughter, Delores Wehner; and one grandson, Travis Seward.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores R. Wehner; stepdaughter, Patti L. Seward; stepson, Paul J. Seeberger; one grandson, Benjamin Seward; three brothers, Gerard Wehner, Andrew Wehner Jr., and Edward Wehner.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at 10 a.m., at Lahmansville Cemetery Inc., in Maysville, W.V.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Andrews Catholic Church, 6288 Church St., Chincoteague, VA 23336.
