Staff Report —
An arrest has been made in the 2016 murder of forty-one-year old Eric Clifford Rhatigan of Eastville. On June 16, 2016, his body was found in a field on Davis Wharf Road near Craddockville. At 10:57 A.M. on October 15, Joseph Tykot, 58, of Painter, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. According to Accomack County Sheriff Todd Wessells, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
