Mrs. Gail L. Lykes Byrd, of Onancock, departed this life Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock.
Born in Columbus, S.C., Gail was the beloved daughter of the late James H. Laws and the late Sarah L. Laws. She was employed at Perdue Foods in Accomac, for several years.
Private graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Adams U.M. Church Cemetery, Parksley, with the Rev. Gregory Williams Jr. officiating.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her siblings, Fred D. Lykes, Edgar L. Lykes, Sandra K Smith, James H. Laws, and Alfred Northan; seven nieces; 13 nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
