Mrs. Bonnie Lynn Custis, 73, of Cashville, wife of Bill Tom Custis, passed away Aug. 6, 2021, at her residence in Cashville.

Born July 18, 1948, in Nassawadox, she was the daughter of the late Brooks “Frog” Taylor and the late  Jean T. Taylor. Bonnie Lynn worked as a medical assistant for many years. She enjoyed spending time at casinos playing the slot machines, cruising, music, and going to yard sales.

Other than her husband, Bonnie Lynn is survived by a daughter, Tammie Sterner; a stepdaughter, Brandy Childress (Shane); a stepson, Bill Custis; a brother, David Taylor Sr.; grandchildren, Nikki Murawski (Jared) and Casey Johnson (Dalton); nephew, David Taylor Jr.; four great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.

Other than her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by a brother, Chucky Taylor.

A celebration of her life was held Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m., from the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley with the Rev. Albert Crockett officiating.
