Mrs. Shirley E. Mable departed this life Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at VCU Health in Richmond.
Born in Nassawadox, Shirley was the beloved daughter of Geneva Turner Murray and the late William M. Jubilee. She met and married the love of her life in New York. Shirley was employed at the Nandua Seafood Company in Hacksneck, until her retirement.
Private funeral services were held Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at the Chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with Min. Veronica Mable officiating. Interment was in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Painter.
Shirley will be remembered by her loving daughters, Veronica M. Mable and Nicole Mable; mother, Geneva Turner Murray; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, John “Billy” Ross; sisters, Ottavia Turner and Roszella Turner; sister-in-law, Tonya Ross; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
