Mrs. Gloria A. Ewell, 87, of New Church, left this life for her eternal heavenly home Friday, Nov. 27, 2020, at her residence.
Born in Wattsville, Gloria was the daughter of the late John and Bernice Tull. She was affectionately known as “Althea” by her family and friends. Gloria was united in Holy Matrimony to Grayson Ewell. She was formerly employed at Golden Pride Poultry Processing until its closure. She then became employed at Holly Farms Poultry Plant (Tyson Foods), where she retired after many years.
Graveside services were held Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, at the New Beginnings U.M. Cemetery, Wattsville, with Min. Michael Blake officiating.
Left to cherish many fond memories are: her daughter, Rosetta Ayres; five grandchildren; brothers, Ralph and Rudolph Tull; sisters-in-law, Essie Mae Dickerson and Estelle Tull; several special friends; a dear friend, Payton Randall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
