By Linda Cicoira — Electronic equipment was stolen from Burton’s Chapel Independent Methodist Church, of Melfa, Accomack Sheriff Todd Godwin said Tuesday.
A report of the burglary was made to the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office at about 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8. Godwin said sound equipment, televisions and “several other items had been taken from the church.”
