By Linda Cicoira — A juvenile has been charged with rape and abduction at Northampton High School in Eastville on Valentine’s Day.
Northampton Sheriff David L. Doughty Jr. said Tuesday that his office is handling the investigation and that the county school administration is assisting in the probe.
The incident involves juveniles whose identities cannot be released, he said. The suspect is being held at the Norfolk Detention Center. Doughty said the investigation is continuing.
