By Linda Cicoira — Police are looking for a Machipongo man who is wanted in connection with an armed robbery at the Dollar General store in Parksley earlier this month.
“Based on an investigation into this incident, arrest warrants have been issued against 36-year-old Torrean V. Washington,” Accomack Sheriff Todd Godwin said in a prepared announcement Monday. Washington was charged with robbery, use of a firearm in a robbery, and grand larceny. The crimes occurred Jan. 20. Police were called to the scene at 8:30 a.m. that day.
