Mr. Burton Keith Thornton Sr., 66, of Bloxom, husband of Helen Thornton, passed away on Aug. 13, 2018, in Parksley.
Born on March 22, 1952, in Nassawadox, he was the son of the late Miles Burt Thornton and Nelda Ferguson Stant.
Other than his wife and mother, Mr. Thornton is survived by a daughter, Misty Dawn Thornton; three sons, Miles Richard Thornton, Burton Keith Thornton Jr., and Burton Keith ThorntonCrockett; three sisters, Brenda Ward, Valerie Taylor and Sandra Ruiz; and two grandchildren, Noah Miles Thornton and Raven Eiley Ayres.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
